The biggest takeaway from the game for me is we held them to 38 rushing yards and the second would be that we won! If we could just get the secondary scheme right we would have a great defense. When you look back at the Raider and Giants games we could've easily won both and could be 3-1 right now. The Falcons will implode sometime during the season and we're tied with everyone else so we've have a legitimate shot at the playoffs.

+1. Their pass defense is horrible. That win over Carolina yesterday .. fools gold. They can't stop no one from scoring.

That was the big ah-ha to me too dizzle.

Maybe Dennis Allen had planned to run more man all season but since he lost his 5 top CB's had to adjust to something less demanding. Lewis, Breaux and Williams all play man well.

Well he may now have more confidence in Crawley, Webb and Moore and isn't afraid to mix in a lot more man cover.

Webb, what is he? Our 8th string CB? It was a great play he mad on that INT.
Crawley looks like he needs some good Southern cooking. Give that boy some gumbo y'all! He needs to add 10lbs. He is a fighter thou. I like him a lot.

Our run D is a whole lot better with Tyeler Davison.

Nick Fairley is DISRUPTIVE.

That non-fumble for the Chargers early in the game was nonsense. Jenkins made a good play to strip that ball from what I saw.

Byrd actually had a pick on one of his few plays, just a shame it was negated by a penalty.

I look at it like those two late fumbles by the Charger was just karma giving a little back to us.

W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

I didn't get to watch the game but from reading the comments, etc. it sounds like he was a definite upgrade for JB.

I am shocked that no one (at least I haven't seen it) has mentioned Nate Stupar. The guy was a beast yesterday, he was all over the field and to me he and Fairley were the biggest reason that defense turned it around in the second half.

Stupar stood out to me as well. The defense gave up 34 points, but after a win it's easier to see the bright spots. I wish we were completely healthy.

Just re-watching the second half now, Stupar made a great tackle at the San Diego 3 yard line when Gordon tried to cut outside.

Stupar bulldozed his man and knocked Gordon for a loss.
