Blew a 21 point lead, just like vs Oakland. Only difference is we learned to finish this time, Carolina left us far too much time on the clock and we were smart with timeouts.

Sean Payton is lacking the killer instinct, whenever we get up by 14+ points we coast and let teams back into the game.

I applauded the D for the the game they played in the first half, but immediatedly withdrew it after the win.

1st half - 10 points allowed
2nd half - 28 points allowed

Brees should not have to throw for 500 yards and 4 TD's to win by 3 points..
Don't think we coast. Remember Drew tried to throw a deep ball in the middle that was picked off which led to a kitty TD. If we were coasting I don't think we throw the ball that deep. Another time Drew overthrew Cooks which ended up giving the ball back to the kittys. We just always want the pick big play which is great, don't get me wrong but when you are eating up a D with 5-7 yard per play keep doing it until they stop you. Then put them away. When you have a lead like we had you don't have to be extremely conservative but you don't always have to go for the kill shot. Keep the chains and the clock moving.

JJ Watt doesn't play for KC and he was eating Strief alive. I would use the run to set up play action shoulder fake approach, but I'm not a genius.

We better tackle on defense. Everybody meet at the ball, and with Alex Smith it'll be short quick passes so we gotta disrupt the WRs at the line.

We can eeek out 21/24 points against these guys I think.

LOL..instead of acting like you know something because you play fantasy, try actually doing some research. KC has yet to play a QB/TE in the same neighborhood as ours. The closest was game 1 against the Chargers. Game 2 was against the Texans, go ahead,,name the TE without looking it up. Game 3 Jets..again..name the TE. Game 4 Steelers, Jessie james may sound like a cool name but his play is meh. Game 5 bye, Game 6 Oakland Clive Walford.

Now do they get a downgrade because they playing in KC, absolutely. Brees arm doesn't work as good for some reason away from home. But seeing how Cooper just dropped 130 yrds on this vaunted D in the pouring rain gives hope.

Probably get our asses handed to us. If we do happen to win then things could get interesting

Doesn't look like the weather will be a factor Sunday.

I read earlier today that the Saints defense has 10 QB hits in the last 2 games. Hopefully they can get to Smith Sunday.
