If Snead grabs the throw that hit him dead in his hands and MI holds on to the damn ball we are probably still winning this game. I still believe in this team.

DS, the defense held (if you want to call it that) the Chiefs defense to 326 total yards on offense (112 rushing, 214 passing)...

It was the sloppy play (mistackles and penalties) that really did the Saints in today...

The Saints gave away this game to the Chiefs today; and that's probably the worst rub of all...

Payton and the defensive coaches need to take a real, hard look at mistackles - it's really the difference these past three years on defense...

Yea JP I agree with you all the wayyy...we aren't fundamentally sound and we are not that athletic on the defensive side for the life of me dont understand why Byrd is still playing adjustments during the game seem to be hard to accomplish I like Nate Stupar he was a nice grab...is it that hard to put a safety over the top of corners who are always getting beat 10-20 yards down the field the misdirection runs were killing us for 1st downs....21 looked good from what I saw from him Crawley's gps is broke when it comes to finding/ tracking the ball..also wouldn't mind letting Tim get the bulk of carries next week Ingram has been very disappointing could be because we haven't be able to run due to us always having to throw to score & being behind but even still something looks off with him..wish we had a Michael Bennett on our team..I can tell you whats wrong with our pass rush they DO NOT KNOW how to use their hands Cam is at times stiff & relies on the swim move to much needs to work half a man & use more of the rip to go THROUGH NOT AROUND the tackles he has the ability just the fundamentals are off BECAUSE HAND TECHNIQUE IS WEAK with our Dline

It's funny because for periods of games our D has looked amazing, then, in the periods where they aren't on, they look god awful and get cut up far too easily. This is what it comes down to, our D cannot hold up for long enough. Not really sure the reason for this but I don't think it is personnel.

Yesterday the D was good enough. They let up 20 points and less than 400 total yards. They did that without breaux, williams, and moore. Not horrible

Re: Been very critical of this team, but I think

sticking with 10-6 till we lose game 7

it is a hard season but it has shown were the bench is weakest and the strongest

SLB is a huge void. But the biggest issue is NT. rotation at DT looks pretty good.

CB? they are getting better as a group. wide open to upgrade

Safety? we need a true SS and FS is serviceable at best. These CB/S are just that CB trying to be safeties.

off season NT CB SLB SS/FS till things change

I find this to be very true. It is far too noticeable when Jenkins is in the game. The guy is awful, anytime Davison is off the field we get ripped on big runs.

We need to get some big vets on the D line in the off season.
