Re: The Return of Jimmy Graham
Jimmy did some beautiful things in our scheme. Thanks Jimmy.
Multiple weapons and options at Brees' disposal made lots of guys look good. Seattle showed the world how to hem him up at the line of scrimmage and then traded for him and have had to live with the result. So Jimmy couldn't block. No Big run game since he left either. Maybe it wasn't Jimmy. Any player that leaves this offense is about to fall off a cliff. If Brees ended up some place else 10 years ago, it is very possible that he would be done. |

They both will always be remembered as Saints. Jimmy tried to get paid as a WR when he was a TE. That's fine. It's his right. It's a business right? Well the Saints proved that they could go get an old guy who was humble and a team player to do the same thing. It's a business thing for them too. But man c'mon, he lost sight that he was a product of Drew Brees and Sean Payton's system. I'm not taking anything away from him for his performance, but his head got bigger than his helmet. Then he left and instead of being humble and classy, he started trash talking. Should've stayed classy and humble. He'll never be as good with anyone else as he was here. No Brees/Payton...nuff said there. |
