He has been most closely compared to Aaron Donald. A constant disruption. If true, and I suspect it is, he will make everyone's job on the offensive line suddenly easier, and thus everyone's job behind them easier. Couple that with having Breaux back in the mix and we may finally see the potential that many of us expected from the defense.

I think this has a big influence on how our defensive line has underperformed vs. what was coming out of training camp. Taking a spark plug out of an engine and expecting it to run smooth is foolish. It's only 1, but 1 makes a huge difference.

wow our dline's performance depended on a rookie, really? i hope SR is the second coming of jesus christ, water to wine and all that, but let's not get lost he is a rookie

How many rookies have intercepted a screen pass from Tom Brady? Also think about the relief he gives other players, when you can have a rotation with significant drop off, you have a distinct advantage.

Let's only hope. If he can collapse the pocket from the middle and keep QB's from stepping into their throws, the impact on the secondary will significant and immediate.
