Nah, not married yet, might end up an old maid. Grandma said I can\'t get married until I find me a cousin who\'s worth his salt. So she gave me a gift certificate to Glamour Shots, with which I got this here picture done. But first I went over to the Walmarts to get my hair done.

I think it\'s having an effect on B&B. He\'s already talking about covers, getting under them, something like that.

Is it just me, or is anyone else already sick of the draft?
The shrink just called and said , it is because your inner child knows the first round pick is going to be a DT from Georgia , otherwise you would be thrilled with the info ......

Shadow, that was the -funniest- post I have ever seen. I laughed for a solid 10 minutes. More.

Why did you edit it out? It was AWESOME!

This year I have taken a different approach to the draft. Last year I spent so much time looking at different boards, scouting reports, mocks. I have come to the conclusion they are are just a bunch of hooey.
I realize that most of what is \'public information\' is a journalist/analyst, perspective. When they say so and so\'s stock is rising its just so you spend more time reading there crap and not someone elses. If you wait til about the week before the draft and look at most boards you pretty much have when about the player will be drafted (within 5-8 picks).
Only 3-5 people in any given team really know what the team is actually going to do. Scouting departments only get the information and send it to the 3-5 people they don\'t have any say where a player should be listed.

This year I haven\'t followed the draft speculation as much as I did last year, partly because this year\'s draft is so much harder to predict. Last year you had groups of players that would be taken in the Top 10, then another group that would be gone by the time the Saints picked.
In my last mock draft I predicted 6 of the first 7 players to be taken exactly where they were taken (plus Roethlisberger at #4 instead of Rivers and I suspect the Chargers wouldn\'t mind that swap).

This year I see a lot of emphasis on offense in the Top 10 in most mocks and I don\'t feel like doing research on the top RBs in the nation. Last year there were a few CBs, LBs and DTs worthy of the 18th pick, so it was kinda fun to see what everybody thought of them.

There are a few players I would be happy with, more on that later.
