Yes! I believe that when we get players back from injury the defense will improve; what sense does it make to strengthen the defense by weakening the offense?

We have #9 under center. It simply doesn't matter who is split out at WR, he elevates everyone's game at the position.. This offense has ranked top 3 in what the last 7 or 8 years? I hardly believe there would much fall off.

As for the defense, we still don't know what we have in Rankins yet. He hasn't had one snap at this level. He have a long way to go before he is at Richardson's level. You get immediate production from SR. Jordan, Fairley & Kikaha (when healthy again) would look a lot better. Did you notice how that RB for Seattle #32 was ripping off 10+ yards with no DL within 4 or 5 yards?

This defense needs all the help it can get. You can't outscore everyone in the NFL .
dam1953 and brees84 like this.

Just because SR is productive with the Jets doesn't mean he will do the same with the Saints.

Our luck he would forget how to tackle or get hurt soon as a Saint jersey touched him.

Then shame on our D line coach (Bill Johnson).

A big fan of Snead but ive had bitten their hand off. Brees elevates anyone. Look at Moore,Meachem and Stills since they left #9
ChrisXVI and BusDriver like this.

I'd rather keep Snead and give them a first round pick.
