Predict Our Record The Rest of the Year
I always thought that the first half of the schedule was the hardest. Although looking now at the second half, it looks equally daunting.
Vs Broncos @Panthers Vs Rams Vs Lions @Bucs @Cardinals Vs Bucs @Falcons I'll go 5-3. That would make us 9-7. Is that enough to make the playoffs? | |

Re: Predict Our Record The Rest of the Year
I said before the year that I thought anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6. There were too many wild card factors, and I still feel exactly that way. There isn't a team on that schedule that I look at and say "no way we beat that team". They are all winnable. But there are things this team does that make me say "if they play like this against the better teams, they won't win any of them". But then they come out and play better.
So it's hard to predict, but the offense is better this year than it was a year ago. They've had some vanishing acts, but today they finally played a dominant game on offense ON THE ROAD. Even though the '9ers stink, I said it earlier in the week that the Saints never play well on the road, period, and I wanted to see them finally break that trend. It wasn't the greatest team performance, but the offense did it's job and that makes me feel like they can get to at least 9 wins. I want to say 10-6 because there aren't any great teams in this league. But I'll go conservatively with 9-7, just because fluky things happen so often against lesser teams. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Predict Our Record The Rest of the Year
To answer the OP's question, I think 9-7 will absolutely be a playoff record this year. The only problem will be how many teams finish there. This has been a very mediocre league, again. More so this year than I can remember.

Re: Predict Our Record The Rest of the Year
too hard to say. if the health on d actually starts to pay dividends 10-6 is not hard to envision. every game is winnable, but who knows.

Vs Broncos - L
@Panthers - W Vs Rams - W Vs Lions - W @Bucs - W @Cardinals -L Vs Bucs - W @Falcons - W Lmao at myself to be honest. 10-6 was my original so I have to make it work sweeping 2 out 3 in the division would be a tall order espically with 3 - 4 will be on the road The question will be - Can the defense continue to bend without breaking too often? |

Re: Predict Our Record The Rest of the Year
I think we can run the table but I also know we can give a game away, so 11-5.
