If it were us doing it, I'd say it was smart. Buuuuuut seeing as it's the 40-whiners:

Was listening to Deke and Bobby after the game. They said that we probably have that same play in our play books. I thought it was pretty smart.

Re: Is this cheating or good football?
I don't think there needs to be a rule change... it happened against us so that is why some are upset by it... but we get to use the same tactic we just have to know how to use it to our advantage as well.

Re: Is this cheating or good football?
It's not cheating unless we wouldve lost by 4 or less points. Then we would've been screaming how we could've made a touchdown but we got cheated! Lol

Re: Is this cheating or good football?
Fair play, but kind of lame. Idea for a rule change, if inside the 15 and blatant holding of receivers to not even get a chance to make a play on the ball, and with less than 15 seconds left in the game.... penalty called and the ball is placed at the 1 yard line. Offense has a decision at this point.

Re: Is this cheating or good football?
Side note: I thought the officiating was spotty in crucial moments of last night (Seahawks vs Bills) game.
Another reason why ratings are dropping. |
Re: Is this cheating or good football?
Smart move. You see it with cornerbacks all the time. They match up one on one with a long pass to a good receiver that is going to be an obvious Td and the corner will take the penalty if he knows he can't hang with receiver. Saves a Td.
