Saints cutting John Jenkins..?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Davison, Rankins, Fairley were out-performing him. He had potential, but we probably needed the roster spot...

Unfortunately we used the pick we got in the Chris Ivory deal to trade back into the 3rd round to draft this guy. Man I wish we had just kept Ivory.

JJ is roughly 6'3 & 345+ lbs ... signs point to leverage issues. A man that large shouldn't be blocked out of a rush lane as often as he was so far this season. He was very ineffective. No surprise the coaches saw that at practice/game day film and decided to cut him.
Didn't work out & it was time to move on and we did. |
