This actually brings up a good point/debate. There is some truth to what you have mentioned. You really have to look at everthing when it comes to stats ect. I am sure they don\'t overlook anything keep in mind they get to actually meet with the players to judge there personality\'s as well, not just those stats that we get online-news-magazines ect.
Its not just the 40 times, its not just the shuttle times... I think a lot has to do with the individial workout as well where indurance is a factor as well. Setting up drills and running the player they can judge that as well. Some teams care less about that aspect I mean how long does a play take before its over... but its becoming more of a factor when you have high speed offenses like the Colts running 2 minute drills constantly from the line of scrimmage. I can recall seeing Norman Hand simply running to the sideline to get off the field and he look out of breath. I wouldn\'t say its the one thing they look at but everything... to much is at stack to just look at 40 times and even they can be misleading depending on location and who is running the clock, wink wink. |

i hope haz n loom are learning from their infatuation with speed and athleticism. gotta have\'em, yeah. there is a lot more to it than that though. devery henderson\'s blazing speed didn\'t contribute one yeard last year. i have been laughing about a quote i read last week concerning tebucky jones that i posted. it compared him to john lynch and went something like \"Jones could beat Lynch on a track all day long but couldn\'t beat him to the ball 2 out of 100 snaps\".
