Source: Brandin Cooks frustrated with his role on offense

We've got a first and third round pick tied up in Cooks...

He's the leader of the WR corps and the most got-his-sh*t-together guy next to Drew on this team...

Since he's gashed the Raiders and other teams with those long plays, everyone, EVERYONE, has made bottling him up the priority...

It may take a few games, but we've just got to make defenses honest on the other Saints options...

Trade Cooks? Trade the Best Hands/Speed Combo Threat in the NFL?

We've got the most plural, complementary WR threat in the NFL, and you want to takeaway Cooks?

O my freaking head...

I don't know about miracle. It just all depends on if something came up where there was an opportunity to make an upgrade in an area of greater need. You'd like to think they can do that without trading him, though. It is unlikely, for sure.

We did trade Ricky Williams while he was on his rookie contract, after all. There have been others, though less notable.

Don't you think it's a little selfish and immature for a guy to be upset about his involvement in a 28 point win though!?!

I would understand if we had lost and he could have helped, but the rams bracketed him and Brees did the right thing by throwing to the open receiver.

I mean come on, your team just won by 28 points. When Cooks had the long TD's people were flying over there to congratulate him, it's a shame he can't be grown up enough to return the favour.

Marques Colston was fiercely competitive, but always stayed professional.

Someone orient him to the term "team player". He has to be accounted for on every snap, so he was a big part of the offensive output last week.

It is a good think that you are refraining yourself from jumping into wild conclusions based on an ESPN article citing a "source".

It isn't baseless conjecture by journalists... Cooks said it himself earlier in the season:

In his two previous games, Cooks had a total of five catches for 44 yards -- and he said Monday that “one of the things I feel like in those two games … I probably just wasn’t being used right, in my opinion."

This is the press trying to fabricate a story

Cooks is a team player through and through

If he had a step and was the best option sunday Drew would have thrown deep

That was back when rookie contracts were larger than veteran contracts.

Yes. If he was actually upset about it in a selfish manner. You are buying into click bait, friend. Don't take the bait.
