Cooks, on the other hand, is "complaining" yet he misjudged a pass slowing down before hauling butt to the end zone and missing a sure TD by a step.

I saw a lot of drops, something all too familiar with this team. Some are rather sad and lead to INT's.

I think the missing link is since WR coach Curtis Johnson left the Saints in 2012 to become head coach at Tulane, the offense has never been the same. WR's have been bumbling and dropping balls since 2012. Before that, our team had some of the surest hands in the NFL.

No offense to current WR coach John Morton, but there's been a LOT of drops and unnecessary drama at that position, and the skill set has faded since Curtis Johnson left.

I also blame Sean Payton. It's just not the same since Bountygate.

Peace out.
Brees and Cooks aren't getting the reps during the week that used to happen in the past with Colston, Graham, Moore, etc. The timing of the, what should have been a TD, pass was off with Cooks. The chemistry with this team is just not where it needs to be.

No Max Unger. I didnt see the game I just know he was hurt. We just dont have a good line, or definitely do not have depth

That's horrible. Payton needs to find a college job and recruit a speedy QB if that is how he wants to roll. Going gun empty on 3rd and 1 with a statue QB is borderline brain-dead.

I'm actually excited about our defense.... we need another stud CB and pass rusher we have a really good defense.... the offense ... I'm tired of it... I'm tired of watching them struggle and I know the defense can read what play we are running when I'm sitting in the recliner at home and can clearly see oh hear comes the screen .... Payton needs to be the head coach not the play caller... he doesn't have IT.... anymore ....

That awkward moment when Paul Kruger has scored more points in the last 2 weeks than Brees has.

Offensive line was terrible. Bucs have a good D-line to begin with but not having Unger made them look even better. Most plays they were in the backfield before the handoff so I don't blame Payton for wanting to throw on 3-1, I just wish we would use quick slants in those situations, you only need a yard not 10.

Where's the fire? We need to play the Rams every week.

Re: Saints crumble against Bucs - Another disappointing loss

Should have titled this post Saints Offense Crumbles Against The Bucs!

For all the mistakes the defense made, when you look at the numbers they held up their end of the deal:

Once again did not allow a second half TD

Held Bucs to 3.0 yds rushing and under 200 yds passing

Kept Winston without a TD, (run or pass), for the first time ever, college or pro.
