He would not cut into any of our starters playing time to boot. WR/RB ascent piece the saints have not had since Bush and Sproles left. Cook IMO was viewed to the replacement for both when we drafted him. That has not worked out all that well. Cook and CM on the field would strike fear in almost any defense we faces. Plus he would solve KR/PR issues and allow the saints more flexibility else where on the roster by cutting some of the dead wood we keep around. He is made for SP. |

Re: Best WR Corps in the NFL?
We have a decent group, but the best they are not... maybe not yet. Coleman is coming around, finally. And yes, we do need a TE or two. HooseYoMaMa once he comes back from injury could fill one of those roles. Brees is who makes this work, obviously. He is also the one propping up the rating of our OL; and we all know we need more help there as well.

Re: Best WR Corps in the NFL?
Hate to say it but the group up here, Baldwin, Kearse Lockett and Graham isn't to shabby......They also have plenty of speed that you never get to see. I'd still go to battle with our guys any day, but the squawks receiving core is pretty good,,,,,they are just used differently.

Re: Best WR Corps in the NFL?
Funny thing was we had TE Cameron Brate and let Tampa Bay claim him from our Practice Squad...
At the time we had him for about a week, ahead of him was Ben Watson, Josh Hill and after his departure, we traded DL Akiem Hicks for TE Michael Hoomanawanui... Timing is everything... |

Re: Best WR Corps in the NFL?
If Coleman is the weak link then I think we are in a pretty good situation. Not saying our WR corps couldn't be bolstered by adding another guy in the mix... but I like where we are right now.
