Agreed on Pete however I just don't see any new HC (at least a coach who is any good) agreeing to that. They will want to bring in their own staff and that would be key to their success.

I hear ya... However, if it's a guy who has spent time on our coaching staff working with Pete maybe they would be fine with it. Doug Marrone would be one of those guys but I don't know if he'd be a good head coach option or not. Kind of undecided on that.

If Payton were to leave, it'd make more sense for this franchise to just let Dan Campbell take the reigns keeping the coaching staff mostly intact, less Vitt, McMahon, and Johnson...

This is a veteran team that is just missing a prime right guard and some healthy players on defense; hell, Brees Leadership with Campbell could more than do the job...
