If Payton were to leave, it'd make more sense for this franchise to just let Dan Campbell take the reigns keeping the coaching staff mostly intact, less Vitt, McMahon, and Johnson...

This is a veteran team that is just missing a prime right guard and some healthy players on defense; hell, Brees Leadership with Campbell could more than do the job...

No. No. No. Payton is a good coach but needs to be reigned in. Let Ireland be the new GM and keep Payton in a reduced role. I don't want to lose Payton. I just want to reduce his responsibilities where he can get his focus back on the offense.
