Yep. All the best pass rushers are getting tagged so far.. There's a realistic chance that if the Saints FO let Nick walk, we'll not only be losing our 2nd best pass rusher, but we'll also not be able to add a FA to the team who's better.

Who were they going to get? There was no one to get. All the pass rushers that might be available this season were under contract. There were only a few pass rushers in the last draft. We did draft Kikaha but he went down. I repeat, just who were they going to get? They did sign Kruger but who knew he would be so ineffective.

Flashback to 2013 Nonie. When Junya went banannas on the beach. 2014 was his last season in New Orleans.

YES, there has been plenty of DE talent available over the last three seasons.

Kika was drafted but somewhat miscast and with medical red flags. Kruger was a band aid last year and shouldn't even be in the discussion.

We didn't hesitate to waste or trade draft picks. We overpayed several free agents who didn't pan out.

I'd start there. But just about anyone would have been better than what we left ourselves with.
