Re: 2017 Free Agency thread anyone?
I am all for trading Cooks but trading him for Ealy and Butler is bad business. I prefer them to move away from a New England trade. They don't have a draft pick position worth the trade unless they give up a 1st rd pick and 4th rd pick. If anything they need to talk to Cleveland for that 12th rd pick which they're not even ready to trade until it's confirm that the qb they're targeting is off the board. Most likely have to trade Cooks for a 2018 1st rd pick and 4th rd pick this year hopefully 49ers might bite

Re: 2017 Free Agency thread anyone?
Details in on G Larry Warford's new contract with Saints: 4 years, $34 million total (an average of $8.5 million per year). The deal includes $17 million in total guarantees, $8.4 million signing bonus and a salary-cap figure of $3.8 million in 2017. Expensive -- but not bad value for the Saints, who were also in the mix for guard Kevin Zeitler, who reportedly got $12 million per year from the Browns.
