With JP resigned and the money running out in New York maybe reality has set in and a reasonable price can be reached with Hankins. This would give the saints probable on of there top DT rotations in the NFL. Hankins would be our best run stopper.

Sign him to the same type of deal as Fairley with the idea of cutting Fairley lose after 2 years and cash in on the cap savings. Fairley will be 31 and have a cap savings of 5 million in 2019 and 7 million in 2020. Haskin will be 26 and the saints will have the same out if it is needed in 2019

IMO Haskins is a better complement to Rankins
