Re: Terrelle Pryor as a Saint WR... should we?
While the Saints defense made progress, they still ended up the 31st ranked scoring defense in 2016. So unless Pryor can be a healthy shutdown corner or effectively rush the passer, adding any offensive player that isn't a lineman really doesn't make a lot of sense.
Maybe some folks missed the reference in the final game that the 2016 Saints are only the 2nd team in NFL history to have a 5000 yd QB, 2 1000+ yard receivers, and a 1000+ yard rusher on the the same team. While the Saints offense can sometimes be inconsistent and slow starting, there really isn't a fundamental problem with offensive production. Unfortunately the 2 Falcons games illustrate where resources need to be allocated. Scoring 32 points in each game and losing both doesn't mean that you need more offense. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
