And our DLine. The best defense for a go route is a good pass rush. Make the quarter back move before he can plant his feet and heave it down field. Despite having one of the worst Olines in the league last year, Bradford was particularly adept at settling in and taking the hit if need be. If the defense plays like they did in Cleveland, the Vikings are definitely going to test them.

2017 OFFENSIVE LINE

LT (2) 71 - Ryan Ramcyzk (R1, P32), 69 - Khalif Barnes

LG (2) 75 - Andrus Peat, 77 - John Fullington/78 - Landon Turner

C (2) 60 - Max Unger, 65 - Senio Kelemete

RG (1) 67 - Larry Warford

RT (1) 64 - Zach Strief

INJURED/PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO PERFORM

72 - Terron Armstead

We've got a terrific offensive line to start the season even if Kelemete starts at C and Unger is an Active/Injured roster spot for the first few weeks...

Barnes should hold the backup spot for Armstead until he returns; and if Ramczyk is doing well, which I think he'll do fantastic there, Armstead could be the backup T, taking the rest of the season to recover...

Still would like to see another backup interior lineman or maybe a swing G/T to round the group out and Fullington is best of the remaining group?!? Not so sure that third reserve is on the roster right now...

If Ramczyk performs well it will open up interesting possibilities going forward. I think this might be Striefs last year and then we'll need to have another RT. The question then would be if Armstead would be healthy enough to trade and if somebody would be willing to pay much for him given his injury history.
Or in the best of worlds, IMHO, Armstead comes back mid season and reclaims the LT spot and we have him and Ramczyk at LT and RT next year.

Ramczyk i can see as a serviceable LT. If he can be that swing OT in the long run for the saints that anchors the RT position I would be happy. This is what I expected with the pick. He should be able to hang at LT but the kid is green. One tear starter in college with good upside. He needs playing time sure but what a test.

I worry about quick speed DE against him.

If he does handle it It makes rushing Armstead back on the field pointless. More time to heal

If this is the case we are sitting great. If Streif stays healthy.

Then comes the annual question. can Armstead stay healthy? If not what is the game plan to minimize his cap hit?

Day 3 possible solution? keep an eye on
