Re: You're Sean Payton
Kind of got to disagree about not having 3-4 personel. Anthony, Ellerbe, Davidson, Ediboli, Rankins , Byrd, Bell,Harris and thats just off the top of my head. And players would be lining up to play for the guy. I think it would be fairly easy and rank alot better than we are now. I'm not a betting man but if I were he could get us into the high teen in his first season.

Your talking about having one of the best DC's out there and you wouldn't want him because of a 4-3 scheme and a few players that have under performed? We're young at a lot of positions and developing these players for the future is a must in my opionion so why not get the best out there to make it happen ?

Why would they ever consider trading him, not to mention NFL trades are extremely rare? The fact is, Dennis Allen is going nowhere and the Saints will continue the conversion to the 4-3 and all other speculation is meaningless.

As far as trades go NE does it along with others. Ellerbe for Stills, Graham for Unger, it's not uncommon even for us. It may be meaningless but if we had a shot at getting Phillips or even Bradley we should, those coaches have proven track records. What does Allen have? I think we could and should do better at DC if we can now even more since the good ole boys were sent packing.

Pro Football Focus ✔ @PFF Highest-graded NFL edge defenders this season: 1. Khalil Mack, 92.5 t2. Cameron Jordan, 91.3 t2. Von Miller, 91.3 4. Brandon Graham, 90.7 7:05 PM - 6 Dec 2016 His value does not come from sacks alone. With a healthy Kikaha and/or another edge rusher on the opposite side his impact would be even greater. He simply does not have enough help. |
