Maybe the DC never mattered because we always had the same ****ty position coaches... Allen probably told Payton how trash they are and what he needed to make the D great again.

spags is a good coach. but he is a 43 purest and following Williams was a huge challenge.

spent the money on the front 7 sure helped Trent Murphy to DE vs OLB was huge.

But Landon Collins play at SS was a huge factor feeding of that front 7.

I still get sick thinking about Spags and his 2012 Saints defense. Very little talent to start off with, then would only rush his front 4, drop 7 back, get completely tore up, and make very few to no adjustments.

Ive always though he deserved a pass on that s...show of a season. Nothing would have worked with a suspended Payton and then two part time HC and probably screwed out of having Collins as our second round pick on the back of no number 1 pick. Then the geniuses in the front office spending our third rounder on a complete unknown and project

Where's the don't like key? I've gotta go with it has a much larger chance at improving than in staying the same. There's not really much room for it to get any worse.

Granted, it's a big depends kind of thing. Depends on who they bring in, but DC after DC being saddled with Sean's boys have helped no one's cause. Except the opposing teams'.

DA is creative and I believe that with talent his scheme will succeed. He's done wonders with our devastating injuries to the entire defense but especially the secondary. Remember we played the last four games without Vaccaro and he is another impactful player not on the field at game time.
