Stay McCown- when we have someone better, sure, cut him. $1.5 mill is nothing., but if we cut him pre June 1, it only costs 250,000 Ellerbe- hit is $3.2, which is a gamble. Cut him today and it costs you only $700,000. Gotta figure the new LB coach will want to see him first Anthony- $2.1 to keep, $3.1 to cut. another no-brainer |

I definitely want to keep him this year and see if the injury bug is behind him. If we keep him then he can continue being a force at the weak side where we have literally no one else to play the part.
Of these selections Strief is the only real no brainer. Because of his strength and longevity he's a keeper whether he is starting or as a role/back up player. He wants to retire a Saint and I want him to get his wish. |

Re: 5 possible upcoming cuts
Cutting Anthony would be stupid. At least let him show off enough in camp so we can get something for him. I just have a feeling he's going to come back strong. Is he just a complete idiot or something? I see him the type of player to go to a division opponent and be a pain in our ass for years.
