Chargers to announce move to Los Angeles

The San Diego Chargers appear to be no more.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Chargers are set to announce a move to Los Angeles as early as Thursday.

The NFL had given the franchise an extension through the weekend on their option to join the Rams in L.A. In the end, the Chargers didn’t need the extra time to make the decision. The Chargers have played the last 55 seasons in San Diego after moving south after one season in Los Angeles in 1960.

I tend to agree. Both teams (Chargers & Rams) should merge to make it a 8-8 team

New logo announced as well. That's some bull crap. The best uniforms in NFL history are gone. Dolphins, Oilers and now the Chargers. Shame. They are considering rebranding after 2017. One more ugly uniform like the Jaguars does the NFL no justice.

IMO they would have been better off moving to San Antonio, St. Louis, Portland, or Memphis. I don't understand this fascination for Los Angeles and on top of that sharing a market and stadium with the Rams???
