Who is still out there!?
I'll tell you who:
Andre Dyson, Ty Law, and Ed Hartwell. You know who hasn't signed their Franchise tender... Julian Peterson. While I have no delusions of getting any of these guys (except maybe Dyson), it is still nice to dream. I still think we should trade Howard for a proven linebacker... like Urlacher or Bullock. ;) The Howard trade might now wait until daft day... snif. It'd be nice to know what we were getting for him. There isn't much fun stuff to prognosticate about right now. We're stuck with debates about Joe Horn. :( |

I hope so i wouldn\'t mind urlacher-i think he is a great player that has been operating alone and could really teach our guys how to play football. peterson wouldn\'t bother me either. then again-trading joe horn to the bears wouldn\'t bother me a bit at all either.

Bulluck would be nice but what would be better is to trade Howard and our 1st for the Titans 1st (7th overall) and their 2nd, so we could draft Derrick Johnson in the 1st and be set up nice with two 2nd round picks to move around (possibly back into the 1st to get a falling player).

JK, It would shock me beyond belief if the Saints got Urlacher in a trade, but do you really think that is a realistic possibility? I certainly wouldn\'t mind it, though.

it\'s just kool\'s lacher lust. it crops up when he gets depressed thinking of how bad the linebackers were last year and having even less of that so far.
no mr. chicago titans are cutting all-pros and league leading receivers cuz of their cap probs already, no room at the inn. they would like to trade down though for more lower and cheaper picks. their #6 is worth n.o. 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th on the charts. deal? nuh uh. |

I don\'t think we can get Urlacher. It was just part of one of my crazy plans to trade Howard.
Bullock, on the other hand... Our first, Howard, and D. Henderson for Bullock and their second? Why not? They need an end and a WR. We need a stud linebacker. They get our #16, which can get them an additional fine, fine player... and rookies are cheaper, so they save a couple of penny\'s too. Kelley... lacher lust... I nearly fell out of my chair. |

We just cut Pathon, no way are we trading Henderson without him seeing the field. Sorry Kool, no. You are dreaming again. Also Tenn had to cut half their team to get under the cap, they can\'t afford Howard, at all. The only way we could get Bullock is if we gave them a pick for him. That\'s the only way they could afford it, unless McNair retires. It\'s nice to dream though. I have my own dreams of replacements for Joe.

Ooooo... do tell who we\'re getting for Joe, Whodi?
I have to admit that I skimmed over those posts, since they seemed to be a bit irritating in content. |

I would as long as Tobias doesn\'t come out with his \"that doesn\'t make sense\" schtick since I am NOT a GM and these are just OPINIONS on who I would like to see replace him, my very own pipe dreams you could say.
BUT since you asked, I had a trade with Minny in mind for their number 7 before they signed Trav Taylor. Maybe Joe and our 2nd OR our 3rd(not both) so we could get Mike Williams. OR, Arizona was shopping Boldin. Straight up? Or Coles but he went to the Jets. Or to Indy for Reggie Wayne. He is gonna be due a contract from them next year, and they can\'t even afford Edge. Or even within the division. Tampa can\'t afford the number 5 pick. Trade Joe and a 2nd for that, take Williams or Edwards. I wouldn\'t mind facing Joe for the next 2 years, seeing as how their o-line is crap right now. As you can see, I am pretty much going for youth and talent. But I see Mike Williams as a rare, rare player coming into the NFL, and it would be great to have him the next 10 years or so as opposed to Joe for MAYBE two. |
