Joe Horn Trade Value
i think a 2nd might be possible for horn. a 3rd at least. troy williamson or clayton at #16 would be a replacement i could stand taking a chance on.
i think tightwad loomis might even do something reasonable since it is akin to his penny pinching nature. let him play out this year under the contract and see what he gets offered a year older from now. if it is a top 6, 10, or whatever contract better can be had all the more then with his legs older. if he wants to pull a mccardell, go ahead. if it means enough to forfeit almost $5mil, more power to ya. if i was king i might not even try to trade ya before the deadline in that scenario unless getting a high 2nd. 5mil goes a long ways on yacht payments. i\'m in the williams is a stud camp. i would characterize him similar to danno- a bigger, badder, version of michael clayton. besides skill he has game. this draft doesnt have a defined elite upper end but i do think it is very deep at several positions. we have #40 and hope to end up with dallas\' #42. my upper end hope for a horn move would be #33 from the niners. mccarthy convinces nolan he is a go-to guy and has some gas left. he provides a veteran target for rodgers or smith to throw to. #16, 33, 40, and 42... i like it. the bucs are actually talking another wr but i would hate to face him twice a year. ditto carolina needing a moose replacement.
