Re: What the mock drafts are saying about the Saints' pick at No. 11
i'm going with BPA at de, we have to get jordan help which will help dbs in coverage and we can get a cb in later rd or trade up and snare at top corner in this rich and better than normal class of dbs. DES in my liking would be garret which aint happening unless we'd trade brees, out on that. barnett i'm not totally sold. Taco charley love the hgt. at 6.6 a little heavy for speed rush but 40 time okay. maybe my sleeper in rd 2 tanohh kapassgon. 6.7 290 4.72 . watch this pick carefully sol. thomas stanford jr. we should show love if he comes out. i cant wait for draft but loving everyones picks .

Re: What the mock drafts are saying about the Saints' pick at No. 11
If Myles Garrett started falling to say to third or fourth because CLE and SF are pressured into QBs, then you could get into a crazy scenarios to move up...
You've got a friends in CHI GM Ryan Pace (3rd) & JAX HC Doug Marrone (4th), gauge interest in a swap of firsts & maybe send LT Terron Armstead for their 2nd round pick... Kick Peat to LT and now you've got a high second round pick to find another LG - assuming you didn't sign BOTH a Right Guard (hopefully Kevin Zeitler) and a Left Guard in FA? You've also created more cap room down river for Brees, Cooks, Vaccaro, and Breaux; and you push back money you'd have to commit to the O-Line for a couple of years... Also consider the same scenario with the team formerly of San Diego to jump up to get Reuben Foster ahead of CAR, CIN, BUF, all teams that'd jump at Foster... Garrett and Foster are turbo-charged, world changers for defenses and the only two I'd consider moving up for in this draft... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

And from what I've read, Jeff Ireland has been a calming influence in the draft room. Just wait for your player and see if a team wants to give up a bunch to switch draft positions. No more trade ups! |

I've seen two mocks of us getting sidney wilson from florida. I know cbs there usually get drafted fairly high but are just ok in the nfl and is he better than hargraves when he was there? Also i like barnett dudes got a very high motor and good hand technique. i know he was average athleticism but i see bosa in him.
