Re: Fanspeak 2017 NFL Draft Simulator
Just ran one, here are my results:
Round 1, Pick 11: Derek Barnett - DE - Tennessee - the compliment to Cam Jordan. FInally legit pressure from both ends Round 2, Pick 10: Gareon Conley - CB - Ohio State - thought about going LB, but felt Conley was a better value than the LBs available at the pick. Solid CB, should improve our DB group Round 3, Pick 12: Dion Dawkins - G - Temple - big guy, played LT at Temple but moved inside during the Senior Bowl and was successful. Nasty guy, plays hard, quick feet... should fill in at one of our guard spots Round 4, Pick 11: Connor Harris - ILB - Lindenwood - small school guy, with reported great work ethic and high character. Set NCAA for college tackle record of 633 tackles during his career. Also, projected as one of the fastest ILBs in the draft (4.65 prediction). Adding speed to our defense Round 6, Pick 12: Tarik Cohen - RB - North Carolina A&T - nicknamed the "human joystick", and called by NFL.com as Darren Sproles 2.0. Small but quick, stops on a dime and makes great cuts with excellent vision Tarik Cohen Draft Profile Round 7, Pick 11: Eric Saubert - TE - Drake - another small school guy, put up solid numbers. Had a great week at the East-West Shrine Game, but tendency to drop balls. Late round TE who still put up good numbers, so why not? |

He needs work as a tackler. I am leaning towards Quincy Wilson because of the big slow WR/TE in our division Cordrea Tankersley improved his all around game so much I wonder about how high his ceiling really is,

Re: Fanspeak 2017 NFL Draft Simulator
Ok cool. I don't know what Sproles weighed coming out of college.
Edit: Sproles was 187 on his pro day. 9 lbs on a 5'6" Frame makes a big difference. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2005&genpos=RB Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk |

"...but tendency to drop balls..." - Don't we have this guy under contract already? Or do we just want that player at a cheaper clip? Actually I like Saubert and he'll be more of a Todd Christensen type tight end and a little more reliable than the Human Mullet... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
