YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!?!
stealing whodi's thread title about cowart...
this couldn't be outbidded? certainly dwight smith could have helped sell him. The Seahawks have agreed to terms with Chartric Darby, a defensive tackle who spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Darby, 29, has 5 ½ career sacks and is said to be at his best in pursuit on run defense. He's 6 feet tall and 298 pounds, and adds depth and experience to the Seahawks' group of defensive tackles that includes Cedric Woodard, Rashad Moore, Rocky Bernard, Marcus Tubbs and Craig Terrill. The terms of Darby's contract with the Seahawks: three years and $3 million, including a signing bonus of $800,000. Tampa Bay, Atlanta, and New Orleans were also in the running for Darby, who was an unrestricted free agent. |
