"I would come in and talk to them, if they had a definite interest," Ditka told The Detroit News for a Sunday story. "Just as a token and that stuff, no." Ditka said he considers himself a fall back candidate and wants Mariucci to take the Lions job. |

I think Ditka took the Saints job to end the rumors once and for all that Buddy Ryan was the reason the Bears won the Super Bowl . Unfortunately for him , his Saints coaching term only proved the rumors correct .
