Re: Alex Okafor visits New Orleans
Who is that last "stud" we brought in with a pec tear? Was that Butler? How'd that work out for us? It seems like those upper body muscle tears are pretty much like lottery tickets. Every so often somebody gets through it, but...

Re: Alex Okafor visits New Orleans
My wife is going through this injury right now and it's teaching me alot about this. This type of injury really stinks, she just yesterday started srenghthening with her therepist after going through assisted lift for 2 months. The doctor told her 2 1/2 weeks ago it could take a year to possibly 2 years before she recovers to where it feels normal but that is not without some type of % loss from the injury. I don't know how severe his is but my wife tore her rotor cuff, shredded a tendon( no more use with that), fractured her humerus, and tore her bicep. This is a really bad injury with a very slow healing process and I wish this guy the best of luck. Looks like we're rolling the dice with signing him but people heal different. If he's healed it's a great signing but if not he's not going to be much help.

Anyhow, he's signed. Can probably afford two three times the health care so we'll keep our fingers crossed for both her and him. |

Re: Alex Okafor visits New Orleans
I like the signing of Okafor, young guy, not breaking the bank (hopefully) and has been very productive in the past.
We get much better results out of those low cost signings, just like Stupar and Robertson last year. |
