Re: NFL network mock draft.
We don't want any part of this QB class......especially Mahommes.

Re: NFL network mock draft.
I want Solomon Thomas, Adams or lattimore. At 11. If they get one of those three I will be Thrilled. Conley, white, Cunningham or baker at 32. We are desperate for a cb, safety and a de.

Re: NFL network mock draft.
Provided any of them are available, I'd like to see the Saints take either Rueben Foster, Derek Barnett or Jamal Adams at #11.
Adams is most unlikely to fall there, but he has the chance to be a truly elite Safety, who provides great run support as well as excellent pass coverage. Vaccaro is solid back there, but Adams would be hard to pass up. It would take a weird series of events for him to fall to us, though. Barnett has the best chance of providing us that much needed edge rusher at that slot, in my opinion. If they took McCaffrey there, I would become an alcoholic... Not really, but I would be most displeased, indeed. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: NFL network mock draft.
I could see them doing these kind of stupid picks a couple three years ago. But all of these new folks their and the really good offseason moves -including the Cooks trade- is renewing my faith. I'm actually looking forward to the draft this year. And I did survive the aneurism I suffered at the SJB pick. But just in case, I'm gonna cut out coffee and keep away from the kids starting a couple of days before the draft to make certain my stress level starts out reeeeaaally low.

Re: NFL network mock draft.
I could see the McCaffrey pick...
Trubiskey isn't getting passed Chicago and here's why - Chicago ownership once a marketable face and with a name like Trubiskey, Chicago, Hello? Trubiskey may be rated between 10 and 20, but when a franchise QB is there, the Bears won't have this opportunity again... And that's assuming the 49ers don't nab Mitchell first... |

Re: NFL network mock draft.
I don't see Adams getting past top #10.
Side note - It's really refreshing to see these kids who I've watched since they were freshman at area Texas 6A high school programs mature into top NFL draft prospects. Jamaal Adams - Hebron High Soloman Thomas - Coppell High Myles Garrett - Arlington Martin High Marcus Murphy - Desoto High (2016 6A TX state champs) |

Now if by some miracle he fell to the 2nd round...you take him. Even if the Bears don't take him, he has to get past the Jets, Bills, Browns twice, Cardinals, Broncos, and Texans to fall to 32.
As for pick 11, the player I want is Reuben Foster. However, we might not need him anymore. I suppose it depends on how our front office views him. Is he a MLB, SLB, or WLB? Evidently we view A.J. Klein as our starting MLB, so who becomes the odd man out? I'd love to have the kid though. I think he's going to be a star that we regret missing out on. So we need pass rush. I like Derek Barnett. I like Charles Harris. I like T.J. Watt in the 2nd round. I think he could play 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB, so I view him as a DE due to our system. It's probably imperative we grab one of those three guys. The draft can't get here soon enough. |
