Breaking: Malcolm Butler visiting Saints Thursday!

I don't know if you guys realize how desperate we are. If we have another forgettable season Brees and Payton could both easily be gone. This season is it for righting the ship.

I get that, but I don't think he's the guy to help. I could be wrong, and if he ends up here I surely hope I am wrong. I just don't think he's what his reputation says he is. Didn't often line up against the opposing teams #1 WR, plays in a division with 3 awful quarterbacks, had a really good supporting cast around him, short-ish, slow-ish... too many red flags for my liking.

I agree that Loomis and Payton are desperate, but not because they have any fear of losing their jobs. They are desperate because they want to win.

Who is going to fire them? Both Benson and Gayle love them. They are like family. I have pointed this out many times before, the relationship between the owner of the Saints, Loomis and Payton is unique to the NFL.

He wasn't FORCED to fire anyone. Payton runs the show. Benson wouldn't order him to fire anyone. Loomis sure wouldn't. He fired them because they weren't doing their jobs adequately. It's as simple as that. Payton is FAR from stupid. He clearly knew changes were needed in those areas. Hell, the dimwits around here could see that, you know Payton had to have been able to see the same. We all know your bias against Payton. It borders on illogical hatred.

I'm thinking he finally came to the realization that if we was to get any better than 7-9 that those guys had to go. I think he FORCED himself to do that. Hell,somedays I put on my tinfoil hat and believe he lurks on this site and me calling them his sister wives was finally what put him over the edge!

he is and he talks about things he has absolutely no privilege of knowing. It seriously kind of makes me laugh because I cannot tell if he does it to annoy other members or if he sincerely fancies himself "on the inside". There are people who make themselves believe they're somehow associated with people they're not. LMMFAO. Either way it is pretty comical
