That's why I am hoping we don't give up either or our firsts for Butler... And if the Pats will not take anything else than good riddance

People... we never owned pick #32. It isn't ours to wheel and deal with. It was always part of the Cooks/Butler trade.

When it was first talked about before the Cooks trade happened, the idea was Butler and a first for Cooks and a pick. What happened was the saints caved, and just took a first rounder and no Butler.

No, Butler wasn't under contract so they couldn't include him in that trade. They used #32 as collateral for when they could deal Butler. Of course I don't know that for certain but we'll see.
