The Saints are hyping on their official web site the signing of six "key" veterans -- and most fans likely haven't heard of any of them. |

I think signing Green, Craft, Bryant, Smith, Meir and Mayberry were very good signings. If these are the 6 they\'re talking about I\'d have to agree. They\'re all around the bullseye, they just haven\'t hit it yet. Hint: The bulleye would replace Sullivan, Allen or Bockwoldt. [Edited on 23/3/2005 by Danno] |

I know a lot of fans from other teams across the nation. Deuce and AB are known to most casual NFL fans. Other than that..... :casstet:

Gleason-great special teamer, good re-sign Bryant-Good D-lineman with huge upside, GREAT re-sign. Hall-Great blocker, but no big deal. Mitchell-Great ST player, best back-up S we have. Good re-sign Hodge-nah, but better than most we have, gives us good depth Melton-I don\'t have a clue who or what this guy is. I\'d say 4 out of the 6 are key. Probably on par with most teams re-signings. |

the humor i think is \"key\" danno. on par with many teams but plastering a headline that they are \"key\" when they are just back-ups or role players is kinda funny.
