Hate what he did, but if he's matured and has sought forgiveness I'm OK with him.
We did our due diligence and met with him. Is he more Lawrence Phillips, or Tyrann Mathieu or Lagarret Blount? We had character concerns with Carl Nicks, met with him and determined if he fit here. I'll defer to the front office and Payton as to whether Mixon convinced them he's repentant and will tow the line from now on. Mark me down as a sold "IF" on him.

I hope he goes to one of our division foes so I can hate on those teams even more And let Sheldon, Cam or one of our guys put a beat down on his arse... Don't like men that hit women; watched my Dad many a time in publc (He was 6-8) go over and remind a fella how to behave with women in public... Wish there were more men like my Dad today; Saints fans are supposed to have more class than other teams and respect for women goes with it... |

I'm not justifying what he did by any means! He was WRONG!!!!! However, We all have done things that are regrettable, some maybe worse than him that would be more punishable in a criminal sense. Maybe you weren't caught like he was. We just need to be careful and know that everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance. I'm not campaigning for the Saints to select him, but there are people whom there are questions about that involved the Loss of life that were given a second chance to play in the NFL. I think the young man deserves A second chance.
