Well I\'m not exactly thinking about a new coach yet...it doesn\'t make sense to think about it unless something drastic happens, with the talks of extensions for Haslett and his crew. This year\'s crop of potential head coaches isn\'t that good either. IF the Saints were to stink it up this year, which I don\'t want to happen, I say persue Kubiak, who we should\'ve gotten in the first place instead of Haslett.

Singletary couldn\'t even procure the head coaching position at his alma mater. While I don\'t understand it, doesn\'t it beg the question, \"Why?\" The greatest and most beloved football player ever to come from Baylor, who openly said he would take the position, and he\'s passed up for Guy Morriss?

Jim Haslett will be the coach of the New Orleans Saints forever. (B/c after his extension he\'ll be here about until the time that Benson leaves and they become the Los Angeles Saints). Maybe Venturi will get the 2009 season for good measure.

WhoDat do you think they\'ll keep the name \"Saints\" when they move to LA?
As far as our next coach goes my vote would be for Singletary if he brought a really top notch staff along with him. Or here\'s a name for you think about, Norm Chow. How would you like to see that offense in the Superdome!!! |
