Less than a week until draft day. Thank the football gods! An exploding thread on the media (and forum) trial of a potential draft choice. The NFL can be outsmarted by a half gallon of water? Really? If he's up to something other than just plain stupidity, the important folks who actually do the drafting will know in time. I'm sure we all know by now that football IQ is quite different than common sense.

Its not being outsmarted.
Its that you drink so much water that the testers cannot get a result. They should just take a blood sample at the combine. Saves hassle and makes it harder to mask/water down tests

Where are the links for all of this? All I can find on the sports sites are eighty to ninety articles on some murderous wanna be gangster who committed suicide.

There's no way he slides to 32. I doubt he slides at all.

I would take him at 31 in a heartbeat. Someone will get him around 15

The only problem with that plan is that neither is going to be avilable in the slots you propose. Adams will get picked in the top 5. If we allow foster to slide at 11, he'll be gone by 32.

Best that you can hope for is that someone wants to jump up to 11 ahead of Cleveland and Arizona, fall back a few slots and pick up Foster and another pick, I would posit.

Have you ever taken a drug test? They're clear about all that could potentially cause a false positive.

This wasn't even a positive test. It was rendered inconclusive. So he'll take it again. Big deal.

I doubt very seriously Reuben Foster took up weed the week before this test.

Some team will benefit from his fall. Thank hope it's us.

That's why Collins fell in our lap right? I'll be shocked is this FO takes someone with character flaws.

Perhaps his explanation is the truth. Even if it isn't, I don't think it's the big deal some of you make it out to be. Stupid? Yes. Unforgivable? No. This kid has star written all over him and if we pass on him because he made a mistake and he goes on to fulfill his potential I'll never forgive the front office.

NO is a different city. It was said that had Matthieu came here he probably would not be clean because he was too close to home and PP kept hin in line.

I doubt we even have the ability to get him though. Tea leaves are saying we are going to over indulge ourselves on a veteran CB. We get a DE at 11, a late round project and an undrafted WR or RB that shines in preseason. Should be enough to get us in the playoffs.

Haven't had as good of a udfa class since Ireland joined. That's his weakness.
