Forgive my ignorance but what's wrong with Charles Harris?

Nothing really... There just hasn't been any hype around here about him so it would be a little bit of a surprise.

He is a good player if you ask me. Has a good "get off" & hustle. The Saints FO could see him as the compliment to Jordan that we've missed over the years. I'm not sure what we ranked last season on 3rd down however I bet it wasn't very good so quite naturally Sean wants someone who can "disrupt the passer". Harris wouldn't be my favorite pick at #11, but it's hard to ignore the pass rushers and production Missou puts out at the NFL level.

I'm sure Jeff Ireland and co have done their homework.

Keep on eye on this one Chris.

McShay, Cosell & Mayock all have us taking Harris @ 11.

Yep, from seemingly out of nowhere he's become a hot name for our pick. Did someone hear something or is it a smoke screen?

I don't believe it's a smoke screen at all. Harris could be in play depending on who is off the board prior to pick 11.

I'm seeing him gone by 14 in some drafts so not really much of a reach. I'm just gonna have some faith in our new and improved FO this year. Until they do something stupid like pick a QB in the first round -or a "project" in the second...

Isn't Reddick a better pick if he's available? I've read that Harris struggles against the run.

Depending on who is analyzing him. I read a recent article from Mike Detillier saying that he is moving up to the top 10 & Foster falling. If you watch Reddick, this guy can get to the QB on stunts, drop in coverage and spy.

His combine performance certainly didn't hurt his case either. I wish more people would put out his body of work on tape. He can play. Imagine what new LB coach Mike Nolan could do with him?

Damn, is it 7 p.m. yet???
