I'm sorry. I meant to say long snapper. I have always believed that Thomas Morestead is a weapon and field position is everything in football.

Gotcha, it really does seem weird having to spend a slot on just that skill. But football has become such a game of inches where even the smallest of mistakes (or lack thereof) is the difference between heading into the post season or plain ol' heading home. I've always thought those kind of positions shouldn't really count on the roster numbers. It'd make a few more slots for some more people to play and maybe even help reduce injuries by expanding the rotations in some higher liability positions.
