so true if dural can get back to where he was before he ripped his hammies of the bone will be a hell of a pick up for little coin. again curtis johnston?

Did not know about his hammy issue. No telling his potential since that system did no favors for WRs so right there two things against him but If he gets healthy I could see him appear in games late in the season. Right now though just a project that won't deliver anything for a while.

It's really not difficult to know why LSU never enticed good QB's to come there. Miles was a old school smash mouth run the ball 90% of the time coach. So why would a high school QB with visions of playing in the NFL someday want to go to a school like LSU that doesn't utilize the QB except as a handoff machine?

So maybe now that we have a different offensive philosophy, we can start to attrack some of the better QB recruits. I think this years QB class is better than what we have had in some time at LSU.

I don't blame Miles at all. It won him a couple of Championships. How many coaches can hang their hat on one of those? Screw it, not the best game plan but if it works cram it down their throat if you can. Wasn't working anymore so meh.....time to move on. End of the day he got to the top of the hill a couple of times. That is likely not going to happen for a long long time in BR.

It won him one championship but was with nick Satan players. If LSU had one of 10 college coaches over the past 6 years they would own 3 more national championships

No but he can win a championship in BR. He already is bringing in insane talent and the best coaching minds in college football.

I do. Les wasn't a very good X's and O's coach. He squandered a sick amount of talent over the last decade. His approach to the game was "Miles" behind other good coaches. You have to adapt with change (up tempo, spreading the ball around) but he refused to do so. Cam Cameron didn't help much either.

IMO he shares a lot of blame over the years down in B.R.
