My real concern is Armstead's mounting injury proned-ness. I think it's a baby elephant in the room that needs to be addressed before it turns into a full-grown elephant.
It's the the yin to the defense's yang with Ellerbe. All that potential means nothing on the sideline...but dang it sure looks good on paper |

My spider senses tell me that if Stephone &/or Anzalone ball out of control at camp, there will be serious coaching decision on whether or not they release Ellerbe by the end of training camp. |

I kind of feel the same way Guido. That has been our snake bitten history. Sometimes it's OK to have some negativity with our recent lack of success keeping key players healthy. I believe that each team gets two players back from PUP if I recall correctly.........someone else do the math. I suck at it.

To go on regular season PUP you have to have spent the preseason on PUP. Regular season PUP lasts six weeks. After six weeks you have three weeks to activate player or place on IR. There is no limit to number of players on PUP.
Every indication suggests the timing of the surgery was to allow time for Unger to be ready for return. |
