It was meant to be a direct message and was deleted right away. Hicks had become another one of those square pegs in a round hole. He was blessed to get traded to a better fit. But, it chapped the ass of some fans. Nothing that would burn any bridge, for certain. |

He may not have asked to leave, but he might as well have when he 'allowed' his agent to attempt to redefine his position on the field. |

Re-signing Graham won't make any sense if Brees leaves.

Still, what he said, and how he said it, was in bad taste or bad form - perhaps a bit too passive-aggressive for my taste. That's really all. I'm not willing to give him a pass on it. I'm not ready to throw him out with the bath water, but no pass here. He could apologize and I'd be happy... |

Re: Jimmy Graham return in 2018?
say what you want... but Sean does have a history of bringing in washed up TE's past their prime... JEREMY SHOCKY.
But also keep this into perspective. Players excell in the Saints system because they fit it. When players leave they it generally doesn't turn out as well for them. Their best years usually end up the ones they spent with us. The one WR I can't think of right was good with us left and was a complete bus then comes back and is good again. |
