He is also an icon in New Orleans. He eats it up. When he does finally retire I'll guarantee you he goes into politics. He has already hinted at the prospect. Any office he wants is his and that is another reason he will remain in New Orleans for the remainder of his career.

"Feeling bad for Brees" in terms of carrying a team (on offense at the QB position) on the gridiron ... year after year and all we can muster up is 7-9 seasons. This guy has been nothing but great since he arrived in New Orleans. Accuracy, reading defenses, leader of men, yada, yada. He can't do it by himself. No one is talking about his salary, running for Mayor after his time is done, opening up restaurants in N.O etc.

It's time for others (defense, special teams & coaches) to step up in 2017.

If we had a improved defense, does Brees play improve to the point that he's as good as Rodgers and the media admits it? Brees has his share of this team's issues.

Once again, are you serious? Or do you just want more of your attention? :dunce:

Hello McFly he's already better than Rodgers, it's the stupid media that keeps telling people that he isn't and suckers keep believing it

See an awful lot of Saints shirts all around the country with name Brees on them. His personality and work ethics have made him a bit of a legend in this sport. I agree with those who say he retires a Saint and heads to a
Governors job in some West Coast State.

He is exactly like you. He just posts for attention. Never mind him he isn't a Saints fan anyway. Don't waste your energy. That being said I would like to see both of you going round and round on the same hampster wheel.
I bet you two would create some sort of doofus vortex that would disrupt the space time continuum

Passing yards and completion percentages does not determine one's greatness over the other. Brees simply has to win two more SBs to be better than Rodgers.
