Not about number 1 but I disagree with their choice at number 2.
If Ryan has shown us anything it's that he can't elevate the level of play of his offense. Like Drew, Matt Ryan is strictly a passer. There's very little worry that he's going to take off and run with the ball. This is the first year in his career in which he has been in the top 3 of the league in most of the passing categories. Coincidently, he has one of the top running back duo's in the league, a very good offensive line and possibly the most athletically gifted receiver of our generation. In the past, when he didn't have all of those assets at the same time, he's struggled to stay in the top 10 qb passer stats. Even though Cam isn't a good passer, his ability to extend plays or scramble for positive yardage forces teams to game plan specifically for him even when he's the only real offensive threat. Just my opinion |
