There is no way that will happen. We have a premier coach that has constantly produced a top offense and the best QB of our history. Why are you even projecting the possibility of another "failed season"? |

Pair that with the tweet Brees made about being tired of saying "next year" Add that up with his year to year contract and only an idiot can't see that writing on the wall. |

But the bottom line is that each of Loomis, Payton, and Brees will leave on their own terms. If for no other reason, those three brought Mr. Benson and the city a championship. The only question is if any of the three get frustrated enough to seek other opportunities. But I'd be shocked to see any of them forced out for any reason. SFIAH |

That insane garbage about him being invested here, owning properties and businesses here, and politics are asinine. He can manage his assets for a year or two from another state and move back to Nola after he's done. |

And Brees NEVER made any tweet about being tired of saying "next year". You can't get anything right, can you? |

With this post ... Being guaranteed that The Dude will be too lazy to click on the link I will post his lie right here and my proof that he simply has no idea about dealing with facts. ______________________________________________ The Dude on 6/16/2017 in reply to spkb25: Quote:
I think it will depend on how the season goes. If we miss the playoffs with an 11-5 or so record and he sees positive development he stays. If not I think he moves on. _____________________________________________ Here is what I posted in response: Once again, try getting your facts straight. It would have been uncharacteristic of Brees to put something like that on social media because he never did. Brees was interviewed by Mike Nabors and Nabors posted the following tweet without any context. Nabors later posted the following tweet explaining that the context of the quote had nothing to do with any possibility of leaving the Saints for another team. It had to do with his own career. To further place this all in context, the interview was immediately following the final game of the season against the Falcons. Brees subsequently expressed and stressed his desire to play with the Saints well into his forties. Do you ever research anything before you post it as fact? _______________________________________________ You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.
