While I agree with Triplett's prediction at cornerback, I have no earthly idea how it will materialize at LINEBACKER.

Too many unknowns at LB. I guess they could gel at some point but early on likely gonna be a rough ride.

Man, I hope I'm wrong about AJ Klein because I just don't see it. I'm watching the Panthers games from last season when he was filling in for Kuechly and it's pretty underwhelming.

I hope I'm wrong about AJ as well ... what I do notice from these clips is that AJ is a good tackler. Definitely knows how to wrap up at the point of attack.

I think Anthony is going to be a surprise. Seems everyone has written him off already and put him in the back of their minds. He did pretty well his first year being thrown in the middle. Fresh year and a fresh start with new coaches could be just what he needs.
I'm not completely sold on the not understanding the system thing. I may be wrong but it seems like we didn't really see anything good or bad in camp. Just the "having trouble with the system" thing. I don't remember him being on the practice field much.

for the money we are paying and the skill set he has, AJ should be the impact bargain player of the year. I thank Carolina for coaching up AJ for us.

Craig Robertson should handle the weak side with ease. At the least a key package player on third downs.

The rest?

Stephone Anthony? hopes wings and a prayer.

I think Stephone Anthony is just about on par with AJ Klein. I haven't seen Klein do anything in his games last season that Anthony didn't do his rookie year. Now, as far as the intangibles go... I'm not in the meeting rooms or on the field at practice so I don't know if Klein excels mentally, but I don't think the gap is that big at all.

Idk. I just don't know why they would go out and get Klein if they had any confidence in Anthony. I'm not saying the kid doesn't have the ability to be a starter, I'm just wondering why they would do that if they knew Anthony was capable of doing a quality job. If he's good enough, why sign a MLB to a over average contract to start?

I hope the kid can put it all together, but it seems like he either isn't competent enough to make the adjustments or he's in the dog house.

Maybe he'll surprise. Maybe he gets cut. I don't give a **** what LBs are on the field. I just want a beast LB or two again. I miss those days.
