Why's that? It just gives the defense one more thing to fret over. I would like to see it used a couple of times in the preseason just to force DC's to focus on one more thing in preparation. Then we hold off until the Super Bowl to use it.

Didn't he call that play once? I feel like I remember them trying something like that but maybe there was a flag or something right after the snap that saved our ass.

Total strangers on a message board. You can always tell who they are when they post back to back posts sometimes quoting themselves. Of course belittling other people who have different opinions can make one feel a lot better about themselves.

Hey at least they can just disappear when things don't go well or when they are proven wrong.

If Anthony can grasp the playcalling thats a good thing moving him back and forth. Nolan is hopefully bringing him up to speed in the middle and weakside.

At least Anthony has one thing going for him. He doesn't have cramps.

I keep hoping he gets it done and plays a nice roll with us.

Bingo. Funny thing is how much *****ing there is right now about how negative people are being yet the colon continues to blow. There are no games being lost so I guess it's ok to follow the team now because they aren't losing.

Me too. I never wanted to draft him but watching the kid his rookie season he impressed me. I dont have a clue to what Allen and Vitt were thinking last season bringing in a way over done player and not starting him last season and when he got his chance because of injury he played really well. I hope Nolan turns him into a stud and makes Allen and Vitt look stupid in the process. Changing DC's hurt him last season and Vitt never excelled as a lb. coach or was even a good lb. coach and that hurt his progress also.

Three reasons off the top of my head: My first is that it only worries someone if it actually works. Think back to the number of times that trick plays actually worked at that level of play where the guy throwing hasn't actually been a college QB in the past. I mean trick plays in the NFL? Really? Success is pretty rare. These guys are pros who've seen most everything between YAFL and today. You can point at our onsides kick during the Superbowl. That's just one success. Then how many unsuccessful trick plays can you honestly bring to mind? Secondly, Mark's a little... well volatile. He seems to not always think things through as he's on the field. He gets out there to do that and his adrenaline could see that ball just about anywhere but where it should be. I think I'd rather see AP or Alvin in charge of the ball if they really have to do that play. Thirdly, there's a reason good QBs are so rare...

Now aren't you two children so cute. I'd say grow up, but if you haven't by this stage of your lives you never will.
