I dont have a clue to what Allen and Vitt were thinking last season bringing in a way over done player and not starting him last season and when he got his chance because of injury he played really well. Changing DC's hurt him last season and Vitt never excelled as a lb. coach or was even a good lb. coach and that hurt his progress also.

Let me point out another RB that Brees played with, LaDainian Tomlinson. Tomlinson was never a QB as far as I know and he was 8 for 12 in those trick plays with 7 resulting in TD's, including a TD pass to Brees himself.
